Initiating email (13.11.2018)

Dear Emilka!

I'm very glad that you have decided to turn to me for help with your
English. I will be trying my best to be your efficient assistant in
this endeavour.

During our phone conversation we have agreed to have one 45-minute
lesson per week. As for now we have chosen Tuesdays, 15:30, as the
beginnings of our encounters.

For each lesson I will give you an assignment. I will be sending you
the specs for the next lesson's assignment every Wednesday morning, so
you would have enough time to work on it. You will be asked to turn in
the written part of such assignments by Monday morning preceding the
lesson.

As you might have learned from your dad by now, I will come to
Częstochowa this Friday to attend my aunt's funeral in Tarnowskie
Góry. I will stay at aunt Dorota's till Monday. Let me know whether
you will be available on Sunday so we could have our first lesson
face-to-face.

Your first written assignment is:

you can. ***

In order to help you get started with this, I came up with some
questions you might consider while working on this subject:

* When have you started to learn English?
* How much time have you been devoting to your studies over the years
- at school and beyond?
* How many different teachers did you have so far? Were all of them
good professionals?
* What have been some of the learning techniques and tools you have
been applying towards mastering the language? Which ones of those have
been your favourites?
